1910 Works erected.
1911 Installed an engine from John Musgrave and Sons.
1914 Manufacturers of finished blackplates, stampers and enamellers of blackplates, Canada plates and roofing sheets. [1]
1937 British Industries Fair Advert for Welsh Tinplate Works. Tinplate and Blackplate. (Engineering/Metals/Quarry, Roads and Mining/Transport Section - Stand No. D.328) [2]
1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[3]
1957 A regrouping of Bynea Steel Works Ltd and its subsidiaries took place such that the company owned the whole of St. Davids Tinplate Co, Glynhir Tinplate Co and Gorse Galvanising Co, as well as a controlling interest in Webb, Shakespeare and Williams Ltd [4].
