Educated at Sunbury-on-Thames, at a United Kingdom College and Sydney University.
1905 Started working for the Marconi Company in England
Trained and worked in all branches of wireless engineering and operation in England, America and other countries.
1909 Special mission to Arctic ice-fields to demonstrate value of wireless equipment
1910 Special mission to Australia to demonstrate value of wireless equipment
1913 Appointed General Manager Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd.
1917-44 Managing Director, Amalgamated Wireless (Australia)
1918 Received the first direct England-Australia wireless message
