1835 Born in Brixton, Surrey, son of George Hennet, a civil engineer, and his wife Rosamund[1]

c.1857 Took charge of Hennet and Co., mechanical engineers, engaged in manufacture of railway plant, and engineering machinery generally.

1865 Hennet, Spink and Else closed and was replaced by Hennet and Spink

1867 of Bridgwater Ironworks, became an Associate of the Inst of Civil Engineers

1870 Hennet and Spink closed; sometime later Hennet and Co was set up and took over the Bridgwater Iron Works
