1922 Patent granted to James Edgar Hurst of Hadfield, Lancs, and Edmund Bruce Ball of Ayr and the Centrifugal Castings Ltd of Kilmarnock for improvements relating to pouring apparatus for centrifugal casting machines.
1928 Patent granted to Centrifugal Castings Ltd of Kilmarnock, James Edgar Hurst of Thorncliffe Iron Works, Sheffield, and Edmund Bruce Ball of Ayr for improvements relating to machines for extracting pipes, etc from moulds.
Based on the above, this was presumably related to Newton, Chambers and Co
1929 Newton Chambers' centrifugal castings business carried out at Thorncliffe Ironworks was combined with that of the Sheepbridge Stokes Centrifugal Castings Co[1]
