Charles Baxter
Born the son of Edwin Baxter, Manufacturer, Leeds.
Ed. Belle Vue, Bradford; the Bradford Tech. Coll.; and Regent Street Polytechnic, London. First Class Hons. in Automobile and Elec. Eng.;
Pupil with Car Foster and Co., and Bradford Motor Car Co.; sometime Principal Lecturer in Eng., at Motor Sch. Inst., London; afterwards at the Sunbeam Motor Car Co.; Tech. Engr. to James Talbot and Davison, Lowestoft; and Chief Draughtsman to Charles Burrell and Sons, Thetford. Specialist in designing for production and works organization. Three years in the Eng. Dept. of the Royal Naval Air Service; assisted in evolving the Tank.
1917 Writes from 43 Brewster Gardens, North Kensington.
