1957 Control of the company was acquired by a group of investors from Dodd Investment of Oldham for a "nominal sum"; American MonoRail Company retained 20 percent of the shares in the company in return for full cooperation including drawings, patents, etc[1]

1959 Acquired by Herbert Morris[2]

1961 Opened a subsidiary in South Africa with intention of building a factory[3]

1974 A -ton SWL fully flameproofed monorail system used at Crompton Parkinson.
