1957 Tunny Cranes Ltd was incorporated.
1958 December: the first side loader was ready, having been assembled and tested at Slough.
1959 Manufacture started at Leighton Buzzard.
At some point the 2 parts of the Bowman-Shaws's business was brought together as Lancer-Boss
1984 The Boss Cranes company had not traded during the year; the Bowman-Shaws were the only directors
By 1992 Part of the Lancer Boss Group
By 1995 was in the hands of the receiver
