Colonel Frederick Sherwood Taylor (c1829-1880) of the Calcutta and South Eastern Railway
Born at Lee, Kent, the son of George Ledwell Taylor, Architect, and his wife Sibella Margaret Neufville
1861 Married at Holmwood, Surrey, to Marion Emma "Minnie" Dale and had six daughters and one son
1862 Birth of a daughter at Calcutta.[1]
1867 Birth of a daughter at Calcutta.[2]
1868 Birth of a daughter at Hyde Park.[3]
1879 Colonel F. S. Taylor, R.E., Consulting Engineer for the Government of India for Guaranteed Railways.[4]
1880 September 18th. Killed at the Nynee Tal accident. Colonel F. S. Taylor, R.E.[5] The accident in which 108 Indian and 43 Europeans died was two land slips.[6]
