1992 Company incorporated on 19 October 1992. The founders were the executive management committee which had been created to turn around the fortunes of the bus operating division of Drawlane.
British Bus subsequently acquired the operating subsidiaries and the majority of the assets of Drawlane except for Drawlane's 25 per cent interest in National Express.
Some of the Drawlane businesses acquired by British Bus were unrelated to the core business and were sold.
British Bus made a number of further significant acquisitions in 1993, 1994
1994 British Bus Group Ltd was incorporated and then acquired British Bus and its operating subsidiaries. As a result of this refinancing, the group raised new equity and increased its debt facility to enable British Bus' expansion.
1995 acquired Arrowline (Travel).
