1962 Company formed by merger of Bury Felt Manufacturing Co with Mitchells, Ashworth and Stansfield Ltd..

1972 Sold its subsidiary Lawton (Successors) to the Dartmouth Investments Group.[1]

1980 Merged with Cooper and Co (Birmingham) and R. R. Whitehead and Brothers to form Bury Cooper Whitehead.[2]
