c.1872 Public company incorporated

1957 Merger of the principal UK interests of Highways Construction, Neuchatel Asphalte and Ragusa as Amalgamated Asphalte Companies, a new private company. Neuchatel would retain some British subsidiaries outside the merger[1]

1964 Acquired by Derbyshire Stone. At this time Amalgamated Asphalte Companies was owned 60:40 by Derbyshire Stone and Neuchatel.[2]
