1930 Barry, Ostlere and Shepherd merged with the Linoleum Manufacturing Co to form Barry and Staines Linoleum.[1]

1964 Acquired Heckmondwike Manufacturing Co, adding Axminster and Wilton carpets and underfelts to the range of linoleum and rubber floor coverings and tufted carpets[2]
