1913 Transferring the Smethwick Electric Lighting Undertaking to Shropshire Power Co; owned 4 Black Country tramway companies; had an investment in Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co[2]

1917 Mr. C. S. B. Hilton was chairman

By 1931 had become the Birmingham and District Investment Trust[3], which was controlled by British Electric Traction Co[4]
