William John Peall died in Hove, aged 97. Peall had been the oldest member of a long-forgotten group, the Circle of 19th Century Motorists. Peall started driving in 1898 with a Mors Dogcart. He was also the 1892 World Champion at billiards and a founder member of the Royal Aero Club.
