This bus was a result of the takeover of Gilford Motor Co and based on their CF 176 chassis with a six-cylinder petrol engine
1938 The Sentinel-HSG exhibited as a bus chassis with producer gas plant at the rear.
1939 Used a body by Cowieson and could handle 32 passengers
During World War 2 the original engine was converted back to petrol.
