The Gladiator. 7nhp, 17 tons, Compound Showman's Road Locomotive Engine. No 3159. Built 1909. Reg No: CO 3823.
1909. New to Anderton and Rowland, the well known Amusement caterers and worked on their Gondola ride.
1932. Bought by T. Whitelegg and Sons of Plymouth or Exeter.
1937 New Firebox. [1]
1953. Purchased for preservation by the Gladiator Club of Redruth, who restored and rallied her until 1984.
1984. Bought by David Goodwin or St. Columb Major, who has completely rebuilt her. She was rallied for 2 years in Road Locomotive form.
1992. Had the Showman's accessories refitted.
