Laurence John Cadbury (1889-1982) of Cadbury Brothers

1889 March 30th. Born at Woodbrook, Northfield, King's Norton, Birmingham the first son of George Cadbury and his second wife, Elizabeth Mary

1919 Became managing director of Cadbury Brothers

1925 November 10th. Married Joyce the daughter of Lewis Oster Mathews, an estate agent of Birmingham and they had two daughters and four sons.

1982 November 5th. Died at his home, The Davids, Hole Lane, Northfield, Birmingham and was survived by his wife. Their eldest son, Adrian Cadbury, was chairman of Cadbury Schweppes from 1975 to 1989.
