We regret to record the death of Mr. Thomas Alien, which occurred at Kingswinford,
on April 9th, at the age of seventy-seven.
Mr. Allen was formerly managing director of [[Gibbons (Dudley)|Gibbons (Dudley), Ltd.]], and [[Gibbons Brothers|Gibbons Brothers, Ltd.]], his association with
those firms having begun more than sixty years ago.
He was appointed a director of the first-mentioned
company in 1912 and of the latter in 1919. Among his
many other activities, Mr. Alien served as chairman of
the Stourbridge Firebrick Association in 1922-23.

We regret to record the death of Mr. Thomas Alien, which occurred at Kingswinford, on April 9th, at the age of seventy-seven.

Mr. Allen was formerly managing director of Gibbons (Dudley), Ltd., and Gibbons Brothers, Ltd., his association with those firms having begun more than sixty years ago.

He was appointed a director of the first-mentioned company in 1912 and of the latter in 1919. Among his many other activities, Mr. Alien served as chairman of the Stourbridge Firebrick Association in 1922-23.
