Brett's of Coventry.

1897 Brett's Ltd was formed as a public company to acquire the business carried on by Brett's Stamping Co Ltd and certain patents of Mr Edward Samuel Brett [1]

1898 Bretts Patent Lifter Co took over a portion of the business of Brett's. [2]

1912 Listed in Spennell's directory of Coventry as Spanner Manufactuers. [3]

1961 Manufacturers of carbon and alloy steel drop forgings, and hot yellow metal pressings. 230 employees.
