CHRISTOPHER GEORGE ROBERT ELSDON. B.A., who died at his home at Westbury-on-Trym, near Bristol, on 23rd February 1952, was for twenty-five years a member of the technical staff and patent agent for the Imperial Tobacco Company, Ltd., at the head office in Bristol.
He was born in 1890 and after receiving his general education at Christ's Hospital and gaining a scholarship there, proceeded to Hertford College, Oxford, where he held a mathematical scholarship and graduated with honours in mathematics and engineering science in 1914.
