"JOSEPH EDWARD NORRIS, whose death occurred on 12th August 1950, was elected a Student of the Institution in 1925 and transferred to Graduate later in the same year and to Associate Membership in 1927. He was educated at the School of Engineering and Navigation, Poplar, and the Northampton Polytechnic. After a brief period of training with Messrs.
