"LESLIE HALL NOBLE, whose death occurred on 3rd March 1951 at the age of fifty-three, was elected an Associate of the Institution in 1945.
After serving his apprenticeship with Messrs. Swan Hunter and Wigham Richardson, Ltd., Newcastle upon Tyne, and concurrently attending classes at the Rutherford Technical College, from 1915 to 1920, he continued in the employment of that firm, first as junior draughtsman and later as assistant works engineer.
