"GEORGE MCDOUGALL, B.Sc., whose death occurred, as the result of an accident, on 26th February 1949, at the early age of thirty-five, was in the service of the transport department of the Corporation of Edinburgh throughout his brief career, including his apprenticeship from 1934 to 1936.
