HENRY LAWRENCE DAGLISH received his technical education at Armstrong College, Newcastle upon Tyne during 1908 and 1909, and served his apprenticeship with [[Clelands Graving Dock and Slipway Co|Clelands Graving Dock and Slipway Company]], Willington-on-Tyne and also with the [[Wallsend Slipway and Engineering Co|Wallsend Slipway and Engineering Company]].
