"JOHN ARTHUR RELF, whose death occurred at Kingswinford, Staffs, on 11th October 1947, at the age of fifty-one, was in the service of Lloyd's Register of Shipping for twenty-seven years and as principal superintendent of Lloyds Proving Houses was well known in the cable and anchor industry.
