FRANK WILSON was associated with the firm of Messrs Mosers, Ltd., iron and tool merchants, of Borough High Street, London, for the very long period of fifty-six years.
On the completion of his apprenticeship in 1888 he entered the firm as an inside assistant and two years later was appointed London representative—a position he retained until July 1944, when injuries due to enemy action, compelled him to retire. He was responsible for numerous inventions, including a straightener for dents in ships' plates, and a steel crate for bottles.
Mr. Wilson, whose death occurred at Ramsgate on 26th February 1945, in his eightieth year, was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1903, and was transferred to Membership in 1917.
