THOMAS IREDALE, of Park End House, Workington, Cumberland, died on September 25, 1913, aged seventy-eight years. He was identified with the iron and steel trades in various ways, being at one time one of the largest shareholders in the Moss Bay Hematite Iron and Steel Company, and subsequently the Workington Iron and Steel Company.
He was also a director of the New Lowca Engineering Company, Ltd., the Lamplugh Iron-Ore Company, Ltd., and was interested in various other concerns in West Cumberland.
He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1900.
