He was born on December 28, 1842, and served his apprenticeship at the [[Woolwich Arsenal|Royal Arsenal]], Woolwich. He afterwards entered the service of the Thames Iron Works during the construction of the Great Eastern cable-ship, and subsequently was engaged at the works of [[Boulton and Watts|Messrs. Boulton & Watts]]. | |||
He entered the [[Royal Small Arms Factory (Enfield)|Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield]], about 1865, but left Enfield early in 1874 and went to Germany in the capacity of manager of the Gusstahl and Waffenfabrik, Witten a. d. Ruhr. He held that position until 1881, when he joined the [[National Arms and Ammunition Co|National Arms and Ammunition Company]], Sparkbrook, and on the liquidation of that company he went, in 1883, to Coventry to the [[Sparkbrook Manufacturing Co|Sparkbrook Manufacturing Company]], which he left in 1885 to take up a position with the [[BSA|Birmingham Small Arms Company]] at Smallheath. | |||

AUGUSTUS HENRY MURRAY DRIVER died On June 14, 1910.
He was born on December 28, 1842, and served his apprenticeship at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. He afterwards entered the service of the Thames Iron Works during the construction of the Great Eastern cable-ship, and subsequently was engaged at the works of Messrs. Boulton & Watts.
