1961 - November. Established with total assets of c £20 million and a workforce of more than 4000, Air Holdings formed with the amalgamation of the British United Airways Group, British Aviation Services and Silver City Airways, and accounted for more than half of all Britain's independent airline activity.[1]

1962 Myles Wyatt was chairman.
