1923 Mr E. J. Christian was appointed general manager and specialised on the rope section of the business.[1].
1924 Acquired and incorporated in their company the old-established boiler covering business of W. J. Hockey and Co. of Cardiff. Mr W. J. Hockey also joined the board of Sutcliffe, Brothers and Bryce and managed that branch of the business. The address of the new branch was 'Sutcliffe, Brothers and Bryce Ltd., W. J. Hockey and Co, Branch, Hodges-row, Docks, Cardiff.[2]
1929 Acquired by Turner and Newall[3]
1932 Sutcliffe Brothers and Bryce were one of the subsidiaries of Turner and Newall that was grouped under Newalls Insulation Co in a reorganisation of the businesses involved in sale and installation of insulation[4]
