1830 Founded at Preston.[1]

1927 Moved to the Lion Brewery, Coniston Road, Blackburn, following the acquisition of Nuttall and Co.[1]

1987 Acquired by Scottish and Newcastle.[1]

1991 Ceased brewing.[1]
