He was Deputy Lieutenant of the County of Staffordshire for over 15 years, and was a keen Freemason, being a Past-Master of the Legge Lodge and a Past-Officer of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Staffordshire. | |||

Colonel Wilson had been an active member of Evered's organization for over 25 years, and since being Managing Director had been particularly concerned with the Company's rolled metal and tube departments. He took a deep interest in many of Birmingham's philanthropic and benevolent institutions, whilst he was connected with many trading organizations, notably the National Brassfoundry Association, of which he was President for 3 years from 1942 to 1945. EDGAR ARTHUR WILSON. Colonel E. A. Wilson, M.C., T.D., D.L., Managing Director of Evered and Company, Ltd., died after a short illness on 25 November 1946, aged 53 years.
Colonel Wilson had a distinguished career in the 1914-18 war, and was connected with the Territorial Army Association up to the time of his death. He was Deputy Lieutenant of the County of Staffordshire for over 15 years, and was a keen Freemason, being a Past-Master of the Legge Lodge and a Past-Officer of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Staffordshire.
