JAGDISH CHANDRA MAHINDRA, whose death occurred on 20th January 1950 in his fifty-ninth year, was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1926. He was educated at the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute in Bombay, and served an apprenticeship with Messrs. Ruston and Hornsby, Ltd., Lincoln, from 1913 to 1915.
