1922 Manufactured crucible cast steels for engineers tools, high-speed steels, alloy steels made by electric furnace, forgings, permanent magnets, files, hammers, etc
1937 Steel and magnet manufacturers. "Foremost 467" Stainless Steel.[1]
1976 Acquired by Duport
1978 Closure of the specialist steel production - the last in Sheffield; production of permanent magnets and magnet assemblies would continue[2]
1982 Swift Levick Magnets became part of Magnetic Materials Group
