The works were established by John Bramall
1864 After running the business on his own for a few years, Bramall took John Bedford into partnership as Bramall and Bedford
Mr Bedford was familiar with both the manufacturing side of the business and the commercial side.
1871 The Bramall and Bedford partnership was dissolved when Bramall retired from business. Bedford continued the business which became John Bedford and Sons
