1885 The arrangements for electrically lighting the general offices and hotel at Paddington Terminus, and the Royal Oak and Westbourne-Park Stations of the Great Western Railway with incandescent lamps, are being completed.[1]
1886 In response to an invitation issued by the Telegraph Construction and Maintenance Company a large party of gentlemen assembled last night at the Paddington Station of the Great Western Railway to witness the installation of electric lighting at Paddington Station[2]
