Louis Carle

In 1933, Louis Carle, a director of Ford (France), founded Automobiles Tracford. An assembly plant was created in Gennevilliers (a suburb of Paris) for producing front wheel drive cars under this name, in direct competition with Citroen's highly successful Traction avant model that appeared in 1934
