Thomas Cordes (c1827-1901)

Born the son of James Jamieson Cordes

1871 Living at Bryn Glase, Malpas, Mon: Thomas Cordes (age 44 born Newbrough, Surrey), High Sheriff and Magistrate. Land Owner. Iron Manufacturer employing 700 men and boys; Unmarried. With his mother Mary Cordes (age 68 born USA - British subject). Also their nephew Ernest Louis Cordes (age 10 born Sherborne, Dorset. Four servants.[1]

1901 August 15th. Died.
