'...the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, Robert Jones, Thomas Jones, Ezekiel Jones, and George Hulme, all of Manchester, in the County of Lancaster, as Iron-Founders and Machine-Makers, under the firm of Jones's and Hulme, was this day dissolved by mutual consent, as far as respects the said Thomas Jones; and that all debts due to or from the concern are to be paid to or by the said Robert Jones, Ezekiel Jones, and George Hulme, who will carry on the business in future...'[1]
1829 Bankrupt. 'George Hulme, late of Wheat-Hill, Broughton-Road, and Green-Gate, both in Salford, near Manchester, Provision and Earthenware-Dealer, and carrying on business in Green Gate aforesaid, as Machine Maker, in Partnership with Ezekiel Jones, under the firm of Jones and Hulme.'[2]
