Bold-class experimental gas-turbine powered attack craft

c.1952 Built by Vosper fitted with a Metropolitan-Vickers: G2 engine in conjunction with a pair of Napier Deltic diesel engines. The structure was built using "Noral" aluminium alloys[1]

1953 Her sister ship, HMS Bold Pioneer was the first operational gas turbine powered warship[2]

Scrapped 1962.
