Brattørbrua is an unusual retractable road bridge in Trondheim, Norway, crossing Gryta canal harbour in the vicinity of the former Trondheim Mekaniske Verksted. Its two chain-hauled movable decks are supported by rollers. The bridge was built in 1880, rebuilt in 1938/39 and modified during WW2. In 2000, a new aluminium alloy deck was installed.
