Samuel Small Mander
Son of Charles Mander
1773 John Mander started chemical manufacturing, producing pigments used in the production of paints and lacquers. His nephew Charles Mander went into manufacturing varnish and was in turn followed by his two sons, Charles Benjamin Mander and Samuel Small Mander.
1845 With his brother Charles Benjamin Mander, Samuel formed the partnership Mander Brothers to continue the family paints and varnish business in the centre of Wolverhampton.
