1892-4 Draughtsman with Ward Electrical Co, Westminster, and H. J. West and Co, Southwark

1894-6 Works manager with Frederick Braby and Co

1896 Joined John Fraser and Son

1898 Engineer and head draughtsman, John Fraser and Son, Millwall Boiler Works, London, became a member of I Mech E.
