Educated at Wesleyan School, and York House College, Maidenhead.

1882-3 Assistant to his father, auctioneer and values.

1883-7 Served his time with Dexter and Langston, engineers and launch engine builders, of High Wycombe

1887-9 Completed his training at Oswald Mordaunt and Co, of Southampton

1889-92 Worked at Naval Construction and Armaments Co, of Barrow, and various other shipbuilders

1892-4 Draughtsman with Ward Electrical Co, Westminster, and H. J. West and Co, Southwark

1894-6 Works manager with Frederick Braby and Co

1896 Joined John Fraser and Son

1898 Engineer and head draughtsman, John Fraser and Son, Millwall Boiler Works, London, became an associate member of I Mech E.[1]

1899 Manager, Ratner Safe Works. Advanced to Member of I Mech E.

1939 Died in Surrey[2]
