1868 Description of the Dudlow Lane Extention of the Liverpool Corporation Waterworks, with drawings of the Rothwell, Hick and Rothwell pumping engine[1]

George Watkins photographed the engine in 1935. He recorded that it worked at 34 rpm with steam at 60psi, raising water from a well 230 ft deep and raising it 180ft. The engine was scrapped in 1947[2]
