Robert George Laing Burn (1858-1936) of Burn and Baillie and later Burn Brothers

Born the son of Archibald Burn, a Plumber.

1871 Living at 60 Frederick Street, Edinburgh: Archibald Burn (age 61 born Edinburgh), Plumber employing 20 men and 11 boys. With his wife Margaret Burn (age 41 born Edinburgh) and their six children; Thomas A. Burn (age 15); Margaret S. I. Burn (age 14); Robert G. L. Burn (age 12 born Edinburgh); John David Burn (age 11); Lewis A. Burn (age 9); and Archibald W. Burn (age 6).[1]

1884 Married at Camden to Laura Adela Jones

1892 Formed Burn Brothers with his brothers. Formerly of Burn and Baillie.[2]
