1989 Norcros arranged to sell UBM to Meyer International who in turn sold Crosby Manufacturing to Norcros[7]
1997 Acquired the Harcros building merchants chain from Harrisons and Crosfield, effectively doubling the size of Meyer's Jewson chain[8]
1999 Acquired Graham Group[9]
2000 Meyer was acquired by Saint-Gobain of France[10], becoming part of that company's growing building materials distribution activities[11]
