1985 Jonas Woodhead and Sons sold its shock absorber division, Woodhead Manufacturing Co, to Helmart[2].

1986 Carclo Engineering Group acquired Jonas Woodhead and Sons, maker of suspensions[3]

1990 Carclo Engineering Group sold its Woodhead suspensions division to Hoesch[4]
