1846 Born in Bristol[1], son of Edmund and Sarah Carrington[2]

Apprenticed with R. Stephenson and Co, Newcastle

Worked for the Wire Tramway Co, erecting wire systems

Became a consulting engineer

1871 Civil engineer, living in Westminster; visited by Vitale Domenico de Michele 22, civil engineer[3]

1874 Consulting engineer, of Gresham St, London. Became a Member of I Mech E

1891 Consulting civil engineer, living in Clapham with Elizabeth C Carrington 45, Margaret C Carrington 14[4]

1911 Living at 70 Victoria Road, Clapham: William Thomas Henney Carrington (age 64 born Clifton, Bristol), Retired Consulting Engineer and a Widower. Three servants.[5]

1920 Died in Chelsea[6]
