in East Ardsley, Morley, Yorkshire

Ardsley Mill was a steam powered worsted spinning mill built in 1912-13. It was built for Thomas Ambler and Sons by Mouchel and Partners or the Yorkshire Hennebique Contracting Co? Extensively glazed, it is a fine example of a textile mill constructed by the very latest (in 1912) reinforced concrete system.
